MSMA Women Physicians Section Webinar

Join the MSMA Women Physicians Section as we host a series of virtual events that address a diverse array of topics specific to women physicians, trainees, and medical students. 

All women physicians in Missouri are welcome and encouraged to take part, regardless of MSMA membership status. 

Willarda Edwards, MD,  will join us for this special event, where we’ll explore her path from military service to senior management to the Board of Trustees for the American Medical Association. Hear about Dr. Edwards’s role as chair of the AMA Task Force on Health Equity and how she’s driven action on this critical issue in healthcare. This session will be full of lessons and advice for women wishing to make their voice heard at any level of career.

Join us Thursday, January 20th, at 7:00 PM to hear what’s in store for the 2022 Missouri legislative session. Dr. Edwards will share her own journey in advocacy as a woman in medicine and how you, too, can advocate as a physician.
