Missouri Physicians Facing Future Consequences in Medical Practice

Missouri’s physicians are facing one of the most consequential moments in recent memory in our Capitol. The practice of medicine is under sustained pressure from scope expansion pushes, corporate interference in clinical judgment, and policy proposals that weaken the physician‑patient relationship. This election year, however, we have five physicians who have thrown their hats in the ring for election to the Missouri Senate. In a time like this, having strong physician voices in the Missouri Senate is not simply beneficial — it is essential.

MMPAC is proud to support the five physician candidates who understand what it means to safeguard patient safety, uphold evidence‑based care, and defend the integrity of our profession. Their presence in the Senate would give medicine the kind of informed, principled leadership that cannot be substituted or replicated.

But they cannot get there without all of us doing our part. Campaigns are won by those who show up — and those who invest. MMPAC is urging every physician leader to make a personal contribution to these candidates. Your support is more than a donation; it is a declaration that Missouri’s physicians will not sit quietly while others attempt to redefine our profession. It is a commitment to ensuring that the people writing health policy actually understand health care.

If we want physician‑led, patient‑centered care to remain the standard in Missouri, we must help elect physicians who will fight for it. Please join MMPAC in standing with our physician candidates at this critical moment.
